Elite Honor Only Achieved by Top 0.5% of U.S. Law Firms
DENVER (June 6, 2025) – Fortis Law Partners announced today that two of its practice groups have earned prestigious rankings in the 2025 Chambers & Partners USA Guide, one of the legal industry’s most respected and selective directories. The firm’s Litigation team maintained its Band 4 ranking for the second consecutive year, while the Labor & Employment group made its first appearance with a Band 3 ranking, reflecting the firm’s expertise across both practice areas.

Chambers rankings are a mark of excellence in the legal industry and are widely regarded as among the most challenging and competitive recognitions to achieve. Chambers classifies firms in bands from 1 (highest) to 6 (lowest) after a rigorous, independent research process that includes client interviews, peer reviews, and in-depth analysis by Chambers’ research team.
Fortis’s Labor & Employment team made its Chambers debut in Band 3, a significant accomplishment that reflects the team’s exceptional reputation and strong success rate in guiding clients through complex employment law matters and challenging litigation. In its profile, Chambers’ highlighted client comments stating that the team “is very responsive, knowledgeable, personable” and that “all service level and responsiveness expectations have been exceeded. ”
The group is led by Partner Christine (Chris) Lamb, who brings more than 30 years of experience advising businesses and executives on HR issues and defending companies in employment-related lawsuits. Chris is also certified as a labor & employment arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association® (AAA) and serves as a labor & employment law mediator. She is joined in the employment law practice by Partners Liz Hartsel and Leni Plimpton, who also bring significant expertise helping clients effectively address employment law issues and litigation.
“This recognition from Chambers underscores what our clients already know: when they hire Fortis, they’re getting attorneys with sophisticated Big Law experience, deep industry expertise and the kind of personalized attention and competitive rates that you don’t find at traditional ‘white shoe’ law firms,” said Chris Lamb. “We appreciate the affirmation that we are delivering top-tier results and serving as trusted advocates to our clients in high-stakes matters.”
Chambers lauded Fortis’s litigation team for its strength in handling fraud, breach of contract, and civil theft disputes, as well as its broad capabilities in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial matters. Client testimonials collected by Chambers describe the litigation team as “immensely hard-working and smart”, noting that they are “available, responsive and excellent at communicating in a precise and effective manner” and “seasoned lawyers who are capable of managing sophisticated matters.”
Partner David Olsky leads the firm’s litigation practice. He is an experienced litigator with a strong track record of winning complex commercial cases, often on a contingency basis, and generating multimillion-dollar awards for clients. In fact, Fortis has won some of the largest civil theft judgments in the state of Colorado for three years in a row. Partners Liz Hartsel and Leni Plimpton join Olsky, in addition to Associates Michael Annerino and Davis Lambert. The team is known for its strategic acumen and success litigating high-stakes cases across state and federal court
