Christine Lamb, recognized in the areas of Employment Law – Management and Labor & Employment Litigation, leads Fortis’ highly regarded employment law practice group. She represents clients in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, and Colorado Department of Labor & Employment. Chris is certified as a labor & employment arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association® (AAA), the nation’s leading provider of alternative dispute resolution services and has arbitrated numerous employment law disputes. She is also certified as a labor and employment law mediator.
David Olsky earned a place on the list for his work in Commercial Litigation. He is a seasoned litigator with nearly two decades of experience, who leads the firm’s litigation practice group. Olsky represents individuals and companies in high-stakes commercial disputes. He is particularly skilled at litigating complex commercial cases on contingency, delivering multimillion-dollar recoveries for his clients, and has expertise in handling government and internal investigations for corporate clients. He is a Colorado Judicial Institute board member and a FINRA arbitrator.
Liz Hartsel was also honored for her expertise in Employment Law – Management and Labor & Employment Litigation. She is known for helping businesses and employees navigate complex employment laws. She is also a seasoned trial attorney and represents companies in commercial and employment disputes, including cases involving breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour (FLSA) claims.
The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America designation spotlights up-and-coming attorneys who have been in private practice for less than ten years and who, based on peer reviews, are practicing at an exceptionally high level of professionalism and competence. Fortis associates Michael Annerino and Isabela Bennett were included on this list.
Annerino is a member of the firm’s litigation team, where he represents individuals in all phases of their cases, from pre-litigation settlement negotiations through trial. This is the second year Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America has featured Annerino for his skill in Commercial Litigation and Labor and Employment Litigation. He has also received the Super Lawyers Rising Stars designation in recognition of his litigation expertise.
